TaxFreeNorway app for iPhone and iPad

TaxFreeNorway is updated with new import rules from July 1st 2014.

Its very easy to use:
-If something is green there is room for more
-If something is gray the quota is full
-If something is red you are over quota

Are you traveling with the whole family or with friends? Don´t worry, the app can make sure you know the total allowance!

TaxFreeNorway is a calculator wich lets you calculate how much tobacco and alcohol you are allowed to bring tax free when entering Norway.

The app calculates how much you risk being fined if you bring more than the legal amount and choose “nothing to declare” upon arrival. It also calculates what it will cost you to declare the goods and pay tax for them.

The app does not require internet access, so it´s completely safe to use when roaming!
(The only time it requires internet access is when buying calculation for several travelers as in app purchase)

Examples of situations where this app is very handy for people visiting Norway:

-You´re a tourist traveling to Norway with your caravanmotorhome. You know that alcohol and tobacco is very expensive in Norway, and would like to know how much it would cost to import what you need for 2 weeks of traveling around to see the fjords. This app will calculate it for you.

This app will calculate it for you.

The app works on both iPhone and iPad so you only have to buy it once!

You are only allowed to bring tax free goods if it´s at least 24 hours since you last left Norway.

This app has been thouroughly tested and uses prices and fines given by the Norwegian customs department and in the customs law, but I do still not give any garantees for the calculations in this app. Should you discover something wrong, please contact app [email protected].
